Lots of Exciting Changes at SweetCars

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have reached out to me with your congratulations and well wishes as I began my new role as General Manager here at SweetCars last month. Your kind words and words of encouragement have meant the world to me.

As many of you know, I also recently celebrated my wedding to my beautiful wife, Natalie. The day was perfect! It was sunny and 70 degrees, and we were able to use my our BMW Isetta for our pictures. It was beautiful and truly the best day of my life. We then set off to the beach in St. Lucia for a week and came back to COLD. Apparently, we left and took the warm with us, but forgot to bring it back, so for that I apologize.

While the season is changing, we have also seen some changes here at SweetCars with the addition of some new faces. We have recently added Addison Dellinger to our sales team, Steven Newman to our service team, and Nick Jenks as our SweetCars porter. One of our current employees, Brady Cleaveland, has also moved into a position as the newest member of our detailing team.

Addison joins our sales team after previously spending a couple of years on our porter and detailing teams. Addison is a Fort Wayne native and recently completed his degree from Saint Joseph’s College in Rensselaer. After spending some time in Australia working with high-end classic and exotic vehicles, Addison returned to Fort Wayne to continue his automotive passion here at SweetCars.

Steven is the newest technician on our service team. A Fort Wayne native and graduate of North Side High School, Steven holds a number of ASE certifications and enjoys being active in the local car community. Like many of us, his passion for cars started at a young age after helping his father restore a 1951 Ford pickup.

Nick Jenks has joined our team as our lot porter. Nick is a lifelong car enthusiast and can be found at many local car events in his free time. He currently owns a beautiful C5 Corvette that you will find him driving on nice days.

Our upcoming brunch event will be a great opportunity to stop by and meet our new team members. The event is on Saturday, December 9, from 9 to 11AM, and will feature a great buffet brunch, a detail clinic from Jared Griffiths, some great holiday giveaways, and more! Check out our website and Facebook event page for more details.

Until next time, happy motoring!
