2011 Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 60F1 Alonso Final Edition, Paint Correction Detail

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of Ferrari’s first Formula One victory by Frolian Gonzales at Silverstone in 1951, Ferrari created the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano 60F1 special edition. The special models came in different liveries to celebrate Frolian’s victory. They were also created to celebrate Fernando Alonso’s Formula One victory in 2011 in his Italia 150. The HGTE 60 F1 Alonso Final Edition vehicles are extremely rare and only a handful were brought to the United States in this livery. You’re more likely to see a Bugatti Veyron than one of these 599 Alonso models. A local collector came across one of these special edition 599 Fioranos painted Rosso Scuderia, which is the same paint used on Alonso’s Formula One car. In it’s full Scuderia Ferrari paint scheme, this 612 horsepower V-12 had only 77 miles on the odometer and was brought in to be sold at SweetCars. The vehicle needed to be detailed to perfection. The vehicle had holograms and swirls caused by the previous detailer. At the SweetCars studio, I detailed the vehicle through a meticulous paint correction and treated the 599 with 22ple VX1 Pro. The interior and engine were also detailed and Michael Barney put his signature carpet art touch in the trunk. This vehicle is currently for sale at SweetCars.
